The Art of Embodiment Through Movement

Embodiment means staying present with our senses, our experiences and our emotions, whether we judge them good or bad. This workshop will use music medicine, circle work, experiential exercises and conscious dance to help you connect with yourself and others. This workshop is participatory and is open to all bodies of any shape and size and can accommodate wheelchairs.

  •        The core movement principles that cross all embodiment practices and which ones they habitually use
  •        A lived sense of front body and back body and what is habitual
  •        Exercises that can create mindfulness in the present moment
  •        Exercises that can help settle an activated body
  •        The four aspects of embodiment and which ones they resonate with
  •        The four human hungers and which ones they crave
  •        The window of tolerance and what their habitual pattern is
