Mindful Resilience

Change and stress are not going away. We can’t control this, but we can choose to have a different emotional response. In this interactive and experiential workshop, participants will gain valuable insight into how to strengthen their resilience using mindfulness practices. Resilience allows us to make good decisions, stay focused and access our personal resources during turbulence. The good news is that it can be strengthened. Drawing on the work of brain and mindfulness experts, this workshop introduces mindfulness practices for increasing resilience.

Audience: This course is suitable for anyone looking to be more effective at managing personal and professional disruptions. Strengthening personal resilience is for anyone wanting to feel back in control, less like the victim and energized by change.

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the root cause of our emotional response to change
  • Describe the characteristics of highly resilient people
  • Identify personal strengths and areas of opportunity for optimizing resilience
  • Utilize the concept of mindfulness to reprogram our brains to allow for increased resiliency
