Mindful Parents, Resilient Children
Today, children are bombarded with more distractions and experience greater demands on their time than previous generations. With an aim to foster resilience and stress tolerance, this course shares practices that enrich the parent-child relationship. This course will emphasize strategies for developing greater attunement between parent and child through pragmatic practices and approaches grounded in mindful parenting concepts. Through direct practice, conceptual teaching and discussion, we will develop an understanding of how mindfulness can enhance emotional resiliency to counter anxiety, depression, attention, and stress-related conditions.
