Mindful Eating

Facilitator: Sarah Kinsley

Bringing awareness to the direct experience of eating allows you to non-judgmentally observe your relationship to thoughts, feelings and body sensations associated with food preparation and eating, increasing your ability to slow down in this multi-tasking world. Learn how to respond rather than react to internal and external stimuli, moving away from automatic pilot. Discover the possibility of freedom from habitual, reactive patterns associated with food, and when practiced daily, hone your ability to create healthier internal and external environments.

Many of us rush through our days not aware of how we are eating and drinking, often running from one thing to the next. Mindful Eating practices teach us the value of slowing down and savouring food that nourishes us. Mindfulness-based Eating practices encourages us to have a different relationship with how, what, why, where and when we eat!
