Managing a diverse group of employees is a complex and often challenging task. Understandably, the time and energy spent dealing with employee conflict can be significant and requires competence and expertise in order to be dealt with effectively. This course will focus on the basic skills managers need to address workplace conflicts with ease and proficiency, including effective communication techniques and mediation skills. Emphasis will be placed on how to act as a neutral third-party - in order to achieve peaceful and mutually agreeable resolutions between the employees, including pro-active and reactive approaches for providing healthy work environments.
