Coaching Cultures: Bringing Out the Best

This course is designed using a coaching approach model. Participants will be working individually, and in trios, to support each other as they learn and apply their learning. There will be assigned readings and participants will also be expected to research additional resources. In trios, participants will take turns facilitating discussion groups and will also be expected to coach each other on creating a coaching culture plan that is unique to their organization. At the end, participants will submit and share their unique coaching culture plans with their classmates.

  • What is a coaching culture?
  • What is the business case for creating a coaching culture?
  • What are the elements to creating a coaching culture?
  • Assessing the readiness of your organization and what a viable plan would be that is customized to your organization
  • Expand on the GROW coaching model with skills that encourage personal transformation
  • Explore trends in the coaching in organizations

Learning Outcomes:

  • Gain clarity on what a coaching culture is and what the benefits are
  • Continue growing your own coaching skills while supporting each other during the course
  • Understand some of the neuroscience behind coaching
  • Design a customized plan for creating a coaching culture that is unique to your own organization
